It's odd how things happen in life. Was sent for a TEE last October for a routine checkup and the found a blood clot in my LAA. Then to add insult to injury I fell in January which didn't seem too bad at the time. I got on my inversion table a week later and couldn't walk the next day and things weren't much better for the next couple of weeks.
Fortunately about a month later I'm back on the bike and hiking again. And the clot hasn't killed me yet. Much better prognosis than back in 2018.
I go for a follow-up TEE in April to see how that nasty clot is doing. Then most likely or hopefully a trip to Austin for a watchman implant and a touchup ablation to solidify my current state of NSR. My last 7 day monitor showed very little PAC/PVC burden and a 5 second run of VT. So the ticker and Dr Natali's work is solid.
I'll post updates as things move along
